SARA DUTERTE'S LAME, GASPING FOR BREATH REPLY TO IMPEACH COMPLAINT...
Sara Duterte has replied to the impeachment complaint against her before the Senate Impeachment Court. A response that’s sooo lame, at best, and gasping for breath at worst.
Sara insisted that the impeachment complaint was a violation of the Constitution. She pointed out that it was fourth complaint against her despite the constitutional limit to one per year. But she had nothing on these realities:
The impeach complaint before the Senate was the only one endorsed by 200 plus congressmen/women, more than the one-third minimum number of signatories. The other three complaints were not acted on by the House, and thus invalid.
On the P125 million confidential funds spent in just 11 days, Sara said there is no time limit for the utilization of the monies. Neither has there been a ruling that the spending was illegal. But Sara conveniently omitted the truth that the real issue is the questionable release of funds to fake signatories, as well as the purpose for the declared expenditures.
On her live video wherein she said, in all fury and seriousness, that she had tapped someone to kill President Bongbong Marcos, First Lady Liza and House Speaker Martin Romuadez, Sara described the allegation as misleading and self-serving for the prosecution.
But to date, guys, Sara has never denied that the girl in the threatening video was her. Neither has she countered ever since that the video was AI-generated. Do how can it be misleading and self-serving to gavor the prosecution? Think about it, people.
