P16 TRILLION PHILIPPINE NATIONAL DEBT NOT UNDER PBBM ALONE

Philippine Vice-President Sara Duterte is asking the Bongbong Marcos presidency where had the P16 trillion national debt so far been spent. Clearly, she’s making it appear that the loans were all incurred under BBM’s administration.

This is 100 percent MISLEADING AND DECEPTIVE. To set the record straight:

The P16 trillion national debt was accumulated under different presidencies for the past decades. NOT ALL UNDER PBBM. And the biggest borrower among the past presidents was Sara’s father, Digong Duterte, who took out a total of P6.4 trillion until his term ended.

The only defense the Digong presidency had then was that the loans rose to P6.4 trillion due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

But let’s not forget, guys, the infamous Pharmally scandal wherein gross overpricing of equipment for the fight against Covid was uncovered, WAS NOT TOUCHED by Digong and not one person was punished or held accountable until he left Malacanang.
